Location: San Jose, California (Hybrid flexibility)
Salary Range: $125,000 – $175,000 (based on experience and licensure)
Your Role
As an Architect, you will:

Lead project scoping, feasibility studies, and early design discussions

Serve as a primary client-facing architectural lead

Manage design and documentation for tenant improvements, retrofits, and building modification projects

Coordinate with structural, MEP, and consultant teams
-
Oversee an internal drafting team to deliver high-quality construction documents

Guide projects through permitting and local jurisdictional approvals

Participate in construction administration, including RFIs and submittal review
-
Expand into broader architectural leadership as project complexity increases
What You Bring
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
-
7+ years of professional architectural experience

Experience with tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, and commercial retrofit projects

Strong client management and project scoping abilities

Knowledge of California Building Code and Bay Area permitting processes

Proficiency in Revit and construction documentation

Licensed Architect preferred (or actively pursuing licensure)
