We are seeking an Associate Director to work alongside the Office Director in leading high-impact structural projects and shaping the future growth of a thriving Orlando practice.

The Opportunity
Lead Landmark Projects
Direct the design and delivery of complex commercial, mixed-use, residential, and institutional buildings across Florida.
Strategic Office Leadership
Partner with the Director on business planning, operations, staffing strategy, and long-term market growth.
Develop & Elevate Talent
Mentor engineers at all levels, uphold technical standards, and cultivate a culture of accountability and excellence.
Client & Market Engagement
Strengthen relationships with architects, developers, and contractors while expanding the firm’s presence in the Central Florida market.
Business Development Impact
Contribute to proposals, networking initiatives, and strategic pursuits to drive sustainable growth.
Technical Oversight & QA/QC
Ensure rigorous structural design aligned with the Florida Building Code, IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC standards.
What You Bring

10–15+ years of structural engineering experience

Florida PE (or ability to obtain quickly)

Proven leadership of complex, multidisciplinary building projects

Expertise in steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design

Advanced proficiency in ETABS, RAM, RISA, and Revit

Deep understanding of Florida Building Code and high-wind design

Strong commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
