Bridge Engineer | NY & NJ | Design, Inspections & Rehabilitation

This Bridge Engineer opportunity is ideal for someone ready to take on more responsibility while working on meaningful transportation infrastructure across New York and New Jersey. You’ll be part of a well-established consulting team delivering bridge design, inspection, rehabilitation, and construction support services for major public agencies, including NYSDOT, NJDOT, and the MTA.

You’ll work across a diverse mix of projects, balancing office-based design and analysis with field-based inspection and evaluation work. Your technical scope will include bridge design and detailing, structural analysis, load ratings, condition assessments, and rehabilitation design, with exposure to projects from early planning through construction support.

From a day-to-day perspective, you’ll prepare plans, specifications, and reports, review shop drawings and RFIs, and coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and agency stakeholders. As you grow into the role, you’ll take on increasing ownership of tasks and deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and support proposal development and project planning efforts.

This role offers flexibility to work in a hybrid model from either the Princeton, NJ or New York City office, alongside a collaborative team that values technical quality, mentorship, and long-term career development.
