Civil Project Engineer – Land Development

We're partnered with an established civil engineering and land development firm looking for a Project Engineer to join their growing Jacksonville team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to strengthen their technical skills, take on more project responsibility, and grow within a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

  • Work on residential, commercial, and redevelopment projects throughout Northeast Florida

  • Prepare civil site designs, plans, and construction documents

  • Design grading, drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control systems

  • Assist with roadway, water distribution, and sanitary sewer design

  • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, consultants, and internal teams

  • Support permitting and local agency approval processes

  • Independently manage routine design tasks with guidance from senior engineers

  • Participate in client meetings and project coordination

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology

  • 2–7 years of civil/site design and land development experience

  • EIT preferred, but flexible for candidates with strong, relevant design experience

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Experience with grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, and erosion control

  • Familiarity with local permitting and development regulations

  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

  • Desire to continue developing technically and take on greater responsibility

  • $75,000–$95,000 base salary
