We’re seeking a detail-oriented Construction Administration Manager / Professional Construction Administration Specialist (PCA) to support engineering teams during the construction phase. This role is critical to keeping projects organized, communication clear, and documentation moving efficiently between engineers, contractors, and architects.
Role Overview
You’ll manage construction-phase documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, and correspondence. Acting as a central point of coordination, you’ll ensure information is tracked, distributed, and archived accurately while supporting timely engineering responses.
Key Responsibilities

Log, track, and distribute submittals and shop drawings

Perform preliminary reviews for completeness and route to engineers

Manage RFIs, track responses, and maintain clear records

Maintain document control using Procore, Newforma, eBuilder, or similar platforms

Track drawings, revisions, addenda, and construction bulletins

Support project closeout including as-builts, warranties, and O&M manuals

Communicate professionally with contractors, architects, and internal teams

Monitor deadlines and provide status updates to project managers
Qualifications

Experience in construction administration, document control, or project coordination

Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Newforma, eBuilder, etc.)

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Familiarity with construction drawings and terminology

Clear written and verbal communication skills
