A well-established multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Group Manager to lead its Electrical Department in Wall Township, NJ.
This is not a senior designer role. This is a leadership position — responsible for technical excellence, team development, client satisfaction, and financial performance.

The Opportunity
You will lead and grow the Electrical Group while collaborating with civil, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines across diverse projects.

Core Responsibilities

Define electrical project scopes and contribute to proposal development and budgeting

Oversee and update department standards, specifications, and technical details

Provide quality control reviews at multiple project stages

Mentor and coach electrical team members

Support performance evaluations and professional development

Coordinate staffing needs with Project Managers

Ensure financial and technical success of projects

Maintain high client satisfaction

Provide subject matter expertise to clients

Represent the firm at client meetings and technical conferences
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)

10+ years of electrical design experience in consulting engineering and/or construction
-
Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey and New York

Strong experience leading multidisciplinary design projects

Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor technical staff

Client-facing experience with strong communication skills
