A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager (Transportation) based in New Jersey.

Responsibilities
- Manage transportation and bridge projects from concept development through final design and construction support
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including bridge, roadway, traffic, geotechnical, and environmental staff
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong client relationships
- Oversee development of plans, specifications, estimates, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams to deliver integrated project solutions
- Ensure compliance with AASHTO, NJDOT, and local agency standards and guidelines
- Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and QA/QC processes
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
- Support proposal development, client presentations, and business development initiatives
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and structural assessments as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or relevant degree
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; New Jersey PE preferred
- 8+ years of experience in transportation and/or bridge engineering projects
- Strong understanding of AASHTO and NJDOT design standards
- Experience managing public-sector transportation projects
- Familiarity with bridge design software such as LEAP Bridge, LARSA, MIDAS, CSiBridge, STAAD, or similar preferred
- Proven project management and client management skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities
