A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Associate Civil Engineer to join its growing Long Island team.
This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced land development engineer to lead municipal infrastructure projects, mentor teams, and work directly with local agencies on meaningful community improvements.
Brief Responsibilities
- Lead municipal civil engineering projects including roadway, drainage, traffic safety, and streetscape improvements
- Manage project design, construction administration, budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Attend planning board and public meetings as a technical representative
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee design staff and field inspectors
- Support proposals, business development, and ongoing municipal partnerships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- NY Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience
- Strong background in municipal infrastructure and public-sector projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
