Senior Associate - Civil Engineer | Long Island

A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Associate Civil Engineer to join its growing Long Island team.

This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced land development engineer to lead municipal infrastructure projects, mentor teams, and work directly with local agencies on meaningful community improvements.

Brief Responsibilities

  • Lead municipal civil engineering projects including roadway, drainage, traffic safety, and streetscape improvements
  • Manage project design, construction administration, budgets, schedules, and client relationships
  • Attend planning board and public meetings as a technical representative
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee design staff and field inspectors
  • Support proposals, business development, and ongoing municipal partnerships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • NY Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • 10+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Strong background in municipal infrastructure and public-sector projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
