Senior Civil Engineer – Infrastructure & Land Development
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering and infrastructure projects, oversee technical teams, and develop strong client relationships. This role will focus on municipal infrastructure, public works, and private land development projects, delivering practical and sustainable engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering staff and technical professionals.
- Maintain relationships with municipal, state, and private sector clients.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall performance.
- Review design documents and ensure technical quality and regulatory compliance.
- Provide expertise in roadway, drainage, stormwater, grading, and utility design.
- Assist with business development, proposals, and client presentations.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 15+ years of relevant civil engineering and project management experience.
- New Jersey Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within six months.
- Proven leadership, project management, and client relationship experience.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and knowledge of stormwater and utility design.
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills.
