We’re partnered with a well-established, multidisciplinary engineering firm in New York City that is heavily embedded in public infrastructure across the five boroughs.
They’re looking to bring in a Senior Civil Roadway Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex NYC capital improvement projects and act as a key interface with major public agencies.
This is a role for someone who already manages projects but wants more ownership, more client visibility, and a stronger platform to grow a team around them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage roadway and infrastructure projects across New York City
- Oversee design production including plans, specifications, and technical deliverables
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and overall performance
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders
- Coordinate with agencies such as NYCDDC, NYCDOT, and others
- Guide technical design across roadway geometry, grading, drainage, utilities, and MOT
- Mentor, delegate to, and develop junior engineers
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery across multiple projects
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of roadway/infrastructure experience
- Proven experience managing projects for NYC agencies (NYCDDC, NYCDOT strongly preferred)
- PE license in New York or ability to obtain shortly after joining
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D (MicroStation/OpenRoads a plus)
- Track record of managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Confident communicator with leadership capability
