This opportunity is ideal for a Site/Civil Engineer looking to build strong technical foundations while gaining exposure to a wide variety of land development projects. You’ll work as part of a collaborative engineering team supporting the planning, design, and permitting of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and institutional developments.
In this role, you’ll assist with the preparation of site plans, grading and drainage design, utility layouts, and stormwater management systems. You’ll support engineering calculations, reports, and permit submissions, while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and reviewing agencies. As your experience grows, you’ll take on increased responsibility for design tasks and project coordination.
You’ll be mentored by senior engineers and project managers who are invested in your technical development and long-term career progression. This is a hands-on role that provides real exposure to the full project lifecycle—from early planning through construction documentation and approvals.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design of site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems

Prepare engineering calculations, technical exhibits, and design reports

Support permitting and agency coordination efforts

Collaborate with project managers, planners, and other disciplines

Revise plans based on internal review and agency comments

Participate in project meetings and occasional site visits
What They’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

2–5 years of experience in site/civil or land development engineering

Working knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design

Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D

Strong communication skills and attention to detail

EIT certification preferred or on track to obtain
