What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects
  • Design structural systems utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
  • Prepare structural calculations, reports, and supporting engineering documentation
  • Assist with the development of construction drawings and design packages
  • Coordinate directly with architects, owners, contractors, and external consultants
  • Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction-phase support activities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on design solutions and technical problem-solving
  • Take increasing ownership of project deliverables and client interactions as you develop

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • 3–6 years of structural engineering experience focused on building design
  • Progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or recently obtained PE license
  • Strong understanding of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC design standards
  • Experience using structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood construction
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Self-motivated approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
