  • Design and evaluate structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood
  • Assist with projects through all phases of design and construction
  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
  • Participate in field observations and construction administration
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other design professionals
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with a broader engineering team
  • Take on increasing responsibility as your technical and project-management skills develop

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably focused on building structures
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
  • EIT certification or successful completion of the FE exam
  • Working knowledge of structural design principles and applicable building codes

  • Experience with structural analysis/design software and/or BIM platforms
  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on greater responsibility

Why This Role

  • Career Growth: Build toward increased project ownership and leadership responsibilities as your experience grows.
  • Hands-On Design: Continue developing your technical skills across multiple structural systems and project types.
  • Project Variety: Gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of building projects rather than being limited to one niche.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside experienced engineers and design professionals while having meaningful involvement in projects.
  • Professional Development: A strong opportunity for an engineer who wants to continue progressing toward the next stage of their career.
  • Competitive Package: Competitive compensation with bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life/disability coverage, and a strong retirement plan.
