Transportation Engineer - Team Leader

Job Summary
We are looking for a Transportation Engineering Team Lead to lead transportation engineering projects, coordinate with clients and team members, and oversee project delivery from start to finish.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead transportation engineering projects and project teams
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Review plans, designs, reports, and technical work
  • Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and other consultants
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and staff
  • Assist with proposals, project planning, and business development
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred/required
  • 10+ years of transportation engineering experience
  • Experience with roadway, traffic, and/or transportation projects
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Experience with NJDOT and local New Jersey transportation projects preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation, Synchro, or similar software is a plus
